In honor of my dad's birthday yesterday, I give you Danny, Danny and Danny, courtesy of cousin Danny. :-)
More pictoral goodness from him to follow.

My grandparents as Young Parents

I love this picture. Partly because it is a photo from when they were still a family of four, and I can't imagine them not being a family of ten! Here they are with My Aunt Patty and Uncle Jerry. They look like a couple of kids. Also I love my grandma's outfit, especially the shoes! Everyone in the photo has on white shoes! Very sporty! Finally I find it amusing, having had two kids that age---I recognize the expressions on everyone's faces---is it over yet? Did the picture take? Hold still! Well Roy and Thelma, at this point in history you have no idea that you're going to do this six more times...

Happy Birthday Dad

Happy Birthday to the coolest guy I know, my dad. Missing you always. Friday the 13th doesn't bother me so much knowing that's when you were born!

An anniversary today!

This is my dad's cousin Jack, and his lovely wife Angie. They are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary! That's my dad, Danny, on the right.

Danny and Lois Fee's Wedding

Before I let June slip by, I thought I'd post pics from my parents' wedding. This one is my favorite!

The Wedding Party: Jerry , Don , Janet , Lois, Danny, Ralph and the father of the bride, Ralph.

Lois's Dad and Stepmom to the left, Thelma and Roy Fee to the right.

Had to include this one, since I know Aunt Janet's reading now ;-) Janet and Ralph married each other almost one year to the day later.

The best man, doing his duty

Lois and her mom, my grandma Glendora.

Newlyweds

Photo taken from the balcony overlooking the Gates-Fourth Methodist gym, also a fave of mine.

Omar and Bertha Fee

My great grandma and grandpa Fee, at their home. I love everything about this picture...how she's up on the arm of the chair, his relaxed pose, the charm of the furniture and surroundings. Can't help but wonder who is pictured on the wall behind them. I also love that it jogs my own memory, as I only very vaguely remember this house.
